As the year ends its time to collect some of the many great albums we’ve missed in our “Album of the Week” slot this year. Whether we were too busy or if it was one of those times when a bevvy of good new music came at once – for one reason or another we missed plenty. Jason Isbell’s excellent solo acoustic effort Foxes in the Snow is one of them. An intimate album relating to his divorce and new relationship, Mojo correctly described it as a show in for Americana album of the year (although it does have some tough competition).
